GCC X Hyderabad
GCC X Hyderabad 2026 — Don't Just Adopt AI. Lead It.
AI-native GCCs make AI the operating model, not an add-on. The model is a fifth of the work; data, context, governance and orchestration are the rest. Measure value, not activity.
On 31 July I spent the day at GCC X Hyderabad 2026, run by HYSEA and 3AI at HICC. One theme: the leadership imperative for AI-native GCCs. The line that framed the day: "Don't just adopt AI. Lead it. Exploit today. Explore tomorrow."
The distinction everyone kept coming back to: an AI-enabled GCC is a human organisation with AI tools, doing more work with AI. An AI-native GCC makes AI the operating model rather than adding it to the operating model: humans and agents working together, organised around outcomes.

AI-native is a redesign, not a rollout.
It means changing the operating model, talent, workflows and governance together, rather than adding AI tools to the way work already runs.
The model is about 20% of the work.
The harder 80% is data, context, governance and orchestration: the layer that turns a model into an enterprise brain. Summit Consulting put it in numbers on stage: 62% of enterprises are still experimenting, 31% are enabling, and only 7% are AI-native.
Measure value, not activity.
SLA and FTE dashboards show how busy a centre is, not what it is worth. The shift is to economic value, customer impact and risk reduction.
Go to learn, and to benchmark.
The best part was hearing GCC leaders compare notes on operating models, and seeing practical AI and startup showcases up close.
The line I keep coming back to: "Business is technology. Technology is business." Two months later I took the same question to Cypher 2026; my debrief from that one is here.
